MonteKristo Estates as a relative newcomer in wine production on the local stage has the advantage of having the very latest in production and bottling facilities at its on-site winery. 

Since the creation of a good wine is as much about people as the process, we have engaged international experts – a leading, visiting oenologist, and a full-time, Italian oenologist and cellar master based at MonteKristo.  Both have extensive understanding of how international grape varieties perform in Malta, and are instrumental in creating a distinct range of local wines which define the MonteKristo label.

MonteKristo currently produces wines from the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Syrah grapes as well as blends including indigenous varieties.
